Free gardening seminars this June to ensure your summer efforts are blooming and growing.
The Greenery Garden Center is offering free gardening seminars this June to ensure your summer efforts are blooming and growing.
Have you ever planted the most beautiful, colorful flowers one day only to see them devoured by deer not long after? White tail deer in this area love munching on your yard and garden for a snack or satisfying meal. Your yard can become quite the all-you-can-eat buffet if you don’t protect it. Master Gardener, Sue Roderus will teach you how to use Deer-Resistant Plants in your yard. Join us at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 and Saturday, June 15 for this informational seminar.
What greater pleasure than mixing up the perfect pesto right from your own garden? There is an art to growing your own herbs and horticulturist Carol Guedalia will share all her secrets to help you succeed in the functional art of herb gardening. Join us at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20 and Saturday, June 22 for this fun and free seminar.
Nothing is more frustrating than purchasing and planting lush flowers and greenery in your garden only for them to sadly wilt in the summer heat. Besides keeping your lawn on the right watering schedule, learning what plants thrive in this weather will do your garden a world of good. Let Carol Guedalia, who has been with The Greenery for 20 years, teach you which plants work best during the Lowcountry’s toasty summer. Join us at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27 and Saturday, June 29 for the Heat Tolerant Summer Plants seminar.
The Greenery is located at 960 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island. RSVPs are encouraged to Jamie Harrison 843-785-3848 ext. 106 or email@example.com.
A special discount will be offered in The Greenery Garden Center to those in attendance who make a purchase the day of the seminar.
