A Successful International Collaboration: Hyundai Mobis Project

This past summer, The Greenery, Inc. had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with an international partner on a groundbreaking project at the Hyundai Mobis site in Bryan County, Georgia. This was no ordinary venture. It was a project that exemplified the power of true collaboration and marked a significant milestone for our company: our first international-level partnership.
The Hyundai Mobis project was an extraordinary undertaking that showcased the expertise and dedication of our team. Some of the key highlights that made this collaboration a success included:
- Planting the First Tree: One of the most significant milestones for The Greenery, Inc. was planting the first tree on the entire Meta site. We were proud to be the first to complete our portion of the project, setting the tone for the rest of the work to follow.
- Extensive Site Work: Our team was responsible for an extensive range of tasks, including site work, landscape plantings, irrigation, and hardscaping. We worked on an expansive area spanning 3.5 million square feet of turf, 1 million square feet of irrigation coverage, and planted 500 hand-selected trees to enhance the site’s aesthetic and environmental impact.
- Massive Irrigation System: A critical aspect of the project was ensuring the site was well-irrigated. A total of 80,000 linear feet of irrigation pipe was laid, ensuring that the landscaping would thrive in the months and years to come.
- A Dedicated Team: Though our team was small—comprising of just our Director, one branch manager, three project managers, and 30 dedicated team members—we worked tirelessly to meet tight deadlines while ensuring that the highest quality standards were upheld throughout the project.
Teamwork and Collaboration at Its Best
This project was part of the larger Savannah Joint Development Agreement (JDA), which spans across Bryan, Bulloch, and Effingham counties. The success of the Hyundai Mobis project was due in large part to the seamless teamwork between The Greenery, Inc. and our Hyundai Engineering partners. From the initial stages of installation to transitioning the project to full-term maintenance, our collaboration has been a shining example of how partnerships can lead to great achievements.
As we wrapped up the initial install and transitioned the site to long-term maintenance, we couldn’t be more proud of our team’s efforts. The Greenery, Inc. is committed to ensuring that the Hyundai Mobis site remains well-maintained, continuing to enhance its landscaping and irrigation systems for years to come.
